Designer Profile
From Classic to Contemporary --Lynn Ronan Design is a full-service design studio that works on projects of varying sizes and styles always keeping in tune with her clients' lifestyles, budget and taste.
The design process starts with a thorough understanding of a client's needs and wants, and is then developed through layout, color, material selection and furnishings. The result--a unique space that is creative, comfortable and visually pleasing whether it be a formal living room or a whimsical playroom.
Lynn Ronan is known for her sophisticated use of color and expertise in product selection. Her interiors can range from an abundance of color in a themed children's room to a subtle palette of neutrals incorporating varying textures and materials in a master bedroom giving her designs a look that is timeless and elegant.
She specializes in adding architectural details..."the nooks and crannies" to a space reminiscent of vintage style homes when doing a renovation or working on a new construction project, and often does space planning and enhances floor plans in the pre-construction phase working closely with both architects and builders and their drawings.
Lynn Ronan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New York School of Interior Design and graduated with high distinction. She was the recipient of the prestigious Decorator's Club Award.
Prior to owning her own firm, she was employed by several well-known residential/commercial designers in Manhattan and also has experience working in the Facilities Department of a major insurance company in New Jersey designing corporate interiors.
She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and has successfully passed the NCIDQ exam, which is a two-day national certification test for interior designers recognized throughout the United States. She continues her education through various seminars sponsored through A.S.I.D. and other design organizations.
Her work has been published in New York Spaces Magazine, USA Today, Wayne Magazine and Morris Magazine.
She also has been selected to be a designer in the Georgian Heights Showhouse, Upper Montclair, NJ which is a charitable event that raises funds for Children at Risk.
