From Classic to Contemporary --Lynn Ronan Design is a full-service design studio that works on projects of varying sizes and styles always keeping in tune with her clients' lifestyles, budget and taste.
The design process starts with a thorough understanding of a client's needs and wants, and is then developed through layout, color, material selection and furnishings. The result--a unique space that is creative, comfortable and visually pleasing whether it be a formal living room or a whimsical playroom.
Lynn Ronan is known for her sophisticated use of color and expertise in product selection. Her interiors can range from an abundance of color in a themed children's room to a subtle palette of neutrals incorporating varying textures and materials in a master bedroom giving her designs a look that is timeless and elegant.
She specializes in adding architectural details..."the nooks and crannies" to a space reminiscent of vintage style homes when doing a renovation or working on a new construction project, and often does space planning and enhances floor plans in the pre-construction phase working closely with both architects and builders and their drawings.
Lynn Ronan received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the New York School of Interior Design and graduated with high distinction. She was the recipient of the prestigious Decorator's Club Award.
Prior to owning her own firm, she was employed by several well-known residential/commercial designers in Manhattan and also has experience working in the Facilities Department of a major insurance company in New Jersey designing corporate interiors.
She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and has successfully passed the NCIDQ exam, which is a two-day national certification test for interior designers recognized throughout the United States. She continues her education through various seminars sponsored through A.S.I.D. and other design organizations.
Her work has been published in New York Spaces Magazine, USA Today, Wayne Magazine and Morris Magazine.
She also has been selected to be a designer in the Georgian Heights Showhouse, Upper Montclair, NJ which is a charitable event that raises funds for Children at Risk.

A black cherry trestle table is accompanied by renewable hickory chairs transforming this space into an inviting lodge style 
Dining Room. Custom window treatments incorporate a kilim print, suede and textured linen to play off an Oushak rug in a warm copper palette.
Every inch of space in this home office has been utilized and has specific purpose.  Careful space planning and lighting layout give a two-sided peninsula desk dual function creating a professional work environment.
This Master Bathroom/Bedroom Suite was totally renovated and redesigned providing the client with his/hers cherry and granite vanities, a spacious porcelain and glass tiled  & jetted shower and a walk-in closet with built-in cabinetry.
A luxurious jetted shower with porcelain and glass tiles is part of an elegant Master Bedroom Suite.
A wall of cabinetry was added and designed to also include a window seat which is embellished by pillows and a custom valance above in this Master Bedroom suite in Morris County.
A neutral palette of textured linen, suede and faux fur create a soothing, serene bedroom refuge.
The addition of this dramatic  four-poster bed constructed of sustainable hickory adds an organic touch to this newly designed Master Bedroom.
A double-height Great Room,  in a British Colonial style, is warmed up with luxurious fabrics and furnishings creating a comfortable retreat by a tumbled stone fireplace.
Old meets new in this redesigned kitchen in a vintage home in Bergen County.  Concrete countertops and state-of-the-art  stainless appliances are combined with reclaimed barnwood floors and beams giving the best of both worlds.

An attic space in a designer showhouse in the Strahan Mansion is transformed into a playroom with an 
outside the house/inside the house 
theme.  A doghouse contains a small television equipped with video games, and petite adirondack chairs are provided for players on a green shag rug.
On the inside of the designer showhouse playroom a corner of the room is turned into a schoolhouse. Chalkboard paint is applied and framed by yardsticks to create an inexpensive blackboard.  A globe is suspended from the ceiling and vintage toys are stored in cubbies in a window nook.
With the exception of its original tub, this Circa 1859 farmhouse bathroom was totally redone still maintaining its vintage character.
A soft palette of pale creams and mochas is selected for this understated yet elegant Living Room.
A traditional Dining Room is enhanced by a warm tone-on-tone wallpaper and upholstered chairs. An original watercolor and a piece of Roseville pottery accessorize the space.
A whimsical chandelier is the inspiration for this young girl's bedroom.  A corona above the bed and a pale green toile give the room a sweet feminine character.
Adding a dynamic stripe to the walls of this kidspace makes a statement.  An arts-and-crafts studio is incorporated into this playroom and is organized and kid-friendly.
This spacious, elegant kitchen in Morris County incorporates ivory glazed cabinets, an espresso island and a marble backsplash.
A contemporary vessel sink with onyx mosaic backsplash is used in this petite powder room.  Wainscoting is custom-designed to add interest to the space.
A sculptural chandelier over a jacuzzi tub adds ambient light and elegance to this luxurious Master Bathroom.  Glass shelves recessed in a niche provide ideal display storage.
Finely crafted cabinetry and handmade tiles make this kitchen renovation warm and appealing.
