Designer Profile

Our design firm is full service. The design staff is degreed in Interior Design and we are active members of ASID.

From the moment we meet our client we focus on what they express as the goals for their project. Our purpose is to guide the process, become partners with the client in attaining the goals and create timeless design.

We share a portfolio of past projects to display our creativity and design expertise. We feel it is helpful for a client to visually see other projects. It helps elicit questions and conversation that may begin to relate to their particular project.

Each client is unique, their needs, knowledge of Interior Design, level of involvement, design preferences, budget and time frame. We feel this “beginning” sets the stage for the entire project. Trust and confidence is the bottom line of every project.

Design projects are extremely detailed and time consuming. It is critical to share with the client exactly what to expect. We make every effort and take the time to explain details and options of the proposed project which may include, depending on the client, construction, renovation, safety, selections of fabrics, colors, furnishings, flooring, window treatments, accessories, etc.

Our goal, is to go beyond customer satisfaction, it is to exceed each client’s expectations. So far, we’re batting 1000!

We promise you innovative and fabulous results, laughter along the way and contentment with the finished product. We want our clients to enjoy the process and most of all, the end results.

Englewood Victorian Foyer
Englewood Victorian. A living room drenched in gold. The walls are painted five shades of gold accented with off white and gold leaf crown moulding and wainscot. The custom silk gold on gold window treatments and the gold and off white patterned seating are complimented by French and English antique furniture and mirrors. The lighting is the Victorian Period. Photography: Wing Wong
Englewood Victorian Dining Room
Englewood Victorian. A remodeled 1886 Victorian kitchen for today’s lifestyle. Color palette is black and white. Space includes the original copper water tank and cast iron stove with the addition of a custom mantel above. The black granite countertops, island and appliances offset the white walls and cabinetry. Custom designed vintage tile floor with inlaid border. Antique lighting fixtures and accessories are reminiscent of a past era.

The Foyer walls are lined with Phillip Jeffries woven paper that also gives the space an Asian feel. The mouldings and staircase railing is painted in a high gloss mahogany to help define the room and the rust accents add warmth to the entrance of the home.
The adjacent dining room continues the Asian attitude with a custom designed wooden grid backdrop. The colors replicate the living room with soft beiges, off white, dark brown with accents of rust. The custom wood blinds and the area carpet mimic the color palette. Dining chairs are fabricated in pale brown suede. The contemporary Asian lighting fixture and greenery enhance, without overwhelming, the dining experience. Photography: Wing Wong
Formally, a traditional living room, now transformed into a sophisticated living space with an Asian flare. The color palette includes soft beiges, off white, dark brown, with accents of rust. All lighting, area carpet, furnishings and window treatments are custom designed. The mouldings are a high gloss custom “mahogany” finish. The focal wall is fabricated with rectangular suede panels to visually heighten the room and the antique Asian accessories add the finishing touch.

The design concept for this transitional dining room began with the client’s interest in geometric patterns as seen in the dining chairs, the faux wall, the window treatments and the area carpet. The color palette is gold with accents of red. There are three shades of gold on the walls with a contrasting gold on the mouldings. The red is evident in the upholstery, the carpet border, the square on square design of the window panels and the commissioned art. The room is lit by two gold silk geometric pendants and two sculptural wooden floor lamps that up-light the focal wall. Photography: Denis Niland
