Blanka Jurecky is the founder and proprietor of Blanka Jurecky Interiors, a full service interior design firm located in Englewood, New Jersey, established in 1991, and servicing New York/New Jersey metropolitan area. Her firm specializes in complete design services for residential interiors, with emphasis on new construction and renovations, as well as commercial spaces. Whether working with her team of professionals or with the clients' own contractors, Ms. Jurecky will always act as an advocate for her clients to assure that all projects are completed successfully, worry free, and on time.

Ms. Jurecky has successfully designed and furnished virtually every type and size of residential interiors, from high-rise condominium apartments and town homes in New York City and Northern New Jersey to typical suburban homes in the surrounding counties. Her commercial projects include New York City restaurants, various office interiors, and high-rise building lobbies and hallways.

Whether the client prefers a space that is traditional, soft contemporary, transitional, French & English country or eclectic, Ms. Jurecky has the ability to pull it all together and make it work beautifully. Her clients are educated as what to expect before the project begins, and this process continues throughout the project, until the completion. Ms. Jurecky is not designing interiors with her vision of her clients' lives and needs, but for her clients, as their home is a true reflection of their taste, lifestyle and budget.

Blanka Jurecky Interiors offers "one stop" flexible interior design services, inclusive of but not limited to space planning and purchases of furniture, fabrics and accessories, kitchen and bathroom design, selection and purchases of all materials and fixtures, design of custom furniture and cabinetry, home office design, lighting plan design, design and purchases of window treatments and window shades with emphasis towards interior and exterior views, creative color schemes, and all other incidental services. Ms. Jurecky skillfully employs all of her talents to create a new look for any budget, from modest to high end interiors.

Ms. Jurecky is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She holds an AAS Degree with the Highest Distinction from New York School of Interior Design and has been an interior designer since she earned her degree in 1991. Previously, Ms. Jurecky worked for many years as a draftsperson/supervisor in a large New York civil engineering firm. Her experience and knowledge of drafting techniques shows in her design of custom cabinetry and furniture. Having supervised other staff members, she developed the ability to coordinate and manage diverse personalities, understand deadlines and budgets, and put the needs of her clients first.

Having grown up in Prague, Czech Republic, surrounded since her childhood with great beauty, architecture and art, Ms. Jurecky brings an international flair into her design and ability to interpret her clients' individual cultures and styles.

Ms. Jurecky has been featured in Bergen Record Homescapes, Design NJ, New Jersey Home & Design Magazine, NJ Savvy Living, North Jersey Homes, Bergen Health & Life, (201) Magazine, and also in prestigeous Designed in New Jersey, an Exquisite Collection of New Jersey's Finest Designers, published by DSA Publishing & Design, Inc., with one of her designs featured on the front cover. In 2008 she won a GOLD Award for her Residential Kitchen design in the NJ-ASID Design of Excellence Awards competition.
