Diane Durocher, ASID, CID creates timeless interiors that encompass a wide spectrum of design aesthetics. From traditional to eclectic, her design solutions garner high praise from her clients.
She earns this praise via a design process that employs a keen eye for color, outstanding space planning skills, and the ability to design customized pieces individualized to the particular needs of the client. It also includes her willingness to explore ways to achieve clients’ goals while working within their budget.
Diane believes that the foundation of a successful design project is built on trust and confidence. Whether designing a single room or a large estate, each project receives exceptional attention to detail. Her ultimate goal is to exceed her client’s expectations.
Diane is a Certified Interior Designer in the state of New Jersey. She has a strong structural background. Prior to establishing Diane Durocher Interiors in 1995, she had ten years of work experience with a general contractor. Diane enjoys the pre-construction phase, rising to the challenge of transforming a blank slate into a fabulous reality. Today, she frequently works in conjunction with major New Jersey builders.
Under her skillful hands, interiors lacking in character are transformed into stunning residences that reflect the client’s individual needs and unique life style. As testimony of her expertise, Diane has received numerous “Design of Excellence” awards from the New Jersey Chapter of ASID and has been featured in several publications.

Diane and her staff provide exceptional interior design services that include design consultation, space planning, new construction, existing home renovations, kitchen and bath design, lighting plans, single room review and relocation assistance.
Diane Durocher Interiors also provides custom furniture, window treatments, bedding, wallcovering, professional millwork and cabinetry, flooring, lighting, artwork and accessories.
Awards & Publications
Diane is a past president of the New Jersey Chapter of ASID and is actively involved in the organization. She received the Renee Baron Hennessy award in 2001 for Outstanding Allied Member. Diane has received numerous Design of Excellence awards from the New Jersey Chapter of ASID which includes the Silver Award in 2004 for residences over 5,000 square feet. In 2006, Diane was awarded the Gold Design of Excellence Award for Residential Showhouses and the Bronze Award for Small Corporate Spaces. In 2008, Diane received the Silver Award for both Residential Showhouses and Residential Kitchens.
Diane Durocher Interiors has been featured in 201 Magazine, New York Spaces, NJ Monthly, NJ Savvy, Bergen Health and Life, NJ Home and Style, Homescapes, Designed in New Jersey, Dramatic Makeovers for Kitchens and Baths, and Best of Today’s Interior Design.
Diane has participated in several showhouses including the New York Spaces Showhouse in Weehawken, NJ in 2005 and the Designer Showhouse of New Jersey in 2006, 2007 and 2008 benefiting the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center. Also in 2008, Diane participated in the Allendale Women’s Club House Tour and in The Holiday House in New York City benefiting Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
