Sharon Draznin, ASID has the ability to interpret the client’s individual style and needs and create beautiful interiors with personal service. She specializes in residential projects that cover all phases of the design from renovations to new construction, working through completion including furniture and finishes. Her design skills include custom furniture design for all rooms including the library, home office, media room, kitchen and bathroom.

Sharon’s design philosophy integrates architecture and interior design to create environments that compliment each other. She believes the style of the home on the exterior should relate to the interior design. She is recognized for her sophisticated use of color keeping up to date on color trends and new fabrics. Her selection of furniture is based on function and achieving the highest quality workmanship while keeping within the client’s budget. She searches for beauty that combines elements of contemporary and traditional style. Her rooms are created to stand the test of time.

Interior design has been an integral part of her life for twenty five years. She is a graduate of the American University, Washington, D.C. with a BA in Interior Design. Sharon began her interior design career in New York City working at Descon Interiors, an architectural/space planning firm and then a residential firm before establishing Sharon Draznin Interiors. She is a professional member of ASID currently sitting on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Chapter. She has qualified for the National Council for Interior Design (NCIDQ) and is a Certified Interior Designer by the State of New Jersey.

Her work has been published in the recent book- Designed in New Jersey and has been featured in House Beautiful, Women’s Day, New Jersey Home & Style, The Star Ledger and The Bergen Record.

Comfort and durability surround the ultrasuede upholstered bed with beautiful Italian linens that blend in with the watery blues and greens of the room. The walls are a wonderful mint green Venetian plaster polished to a shimmering mirrored finish.
