Designer Profile

LMD Interiors is a boutique design firm offering space planning, interior design, project management and move coordination. As the principal designer I apply personal attention to each project tailoring the services and scope to the client's needs. While my focus is on corporate office design, I also provide residential, kitchen/bath and other design consultation services.

As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology my experience began with a kitchen and bath design company in New York followed by working with a meticulous New York architect designing retail stores such as Laura Ashley and The Forgotten Woman. I have six years experience working as part of the design team at the well known New York design firm Mancini-Duffy Associates on large-scale office space planning and design projects. I continued in New Jersey as a senior designer and space planner with BFI. I have spent the most recent years consulting as the owner of LMD Interiors. A notable project from 2008 is the 18,000 sq. ft. relocation of The Sudler Companies headquarters to Chatham, NJ. The project was completed in December 2008 and is a showcase of my design and project management abilities as well as a tribute to the client's 100 years of business.

Services Offered

My approach to any interior design project is to get to know the client or user's needs and expectations. The program is developed from the initial interview. From that point I will meet with the client or users at key intervals in the development process in order to present the design concepts and redirect my work if necessary. This process provides for an end result, which matches the client's vision as well as my own.

My fee structure varies depending on the project. I prefer to meet with the client at the site to discuss the scope of work before developing a proposal. My fee proposal will be based on an estimated amount of time for specific phases of the job. This can be tailored as needed. If the project parameters change then an hourly fee structure can be utilized. There is no charge for the initial consultation. Clients can contract LMD Interiors hourly for individual design services such as field measuring, sketching, furniture and color consultation.
